MACKAY LAW LLC – THE FIRM

After years of advising and working with entrepreneurs, I decided to become one myself and launched MacKay Law LLC in the summer of 2014.

I founded MacKay Law LLC to be the type of Firm that I wanted to retain when I hired lawyers while serving as General Counsel of two companies in two different industries. Accordingly, I have leveraged technology and 25 years of legal experience to create a Firm that strives to deliver high quality legal services in a timely and cost effective manner.

At MacKay Law LLC, we recognize that no business person wakes up in the morning excited about the prospect of calling his or her lawyer to obtain legal services (if you are such a business person, please contact us immediately!). That being said, we also understand that creating an appropriate legal infrastructure and properly addressing legal issues are important components of building and growing any business. We are here to provide you with those legal services.

What types of matters does your Firm handle?

We handle matters that fall into four general practice areas:

•     Corporate and Commercial – Outside General Counsel
•     Business Transactions
•    Technology and Information Technology Matters

What about other types of legal matters?

We assist our clients with matters that require specific expertise or experience that we do not have with referrals to attorneys and other professionals using an extensive network that has been developed over the last 25 years.

Are you equipped to handle matters that require additional resources?

Yes. We have relationships with attorneys, paralegals, and other professionals that enable us to quickly “ramp up” and handle matters that require additional resources.

Are you willing to work under a Fixed Fee arrangement?

Yes, we handle matters under fixed fee arrangements.
